Chicken Blogging...

Ok...But just because you asked!
No, this isn't the winter setup...or even the fall setup...It will be much more predator proof and have a few more layers of heavy gauge wire on it!...and I'm getting a little barn and a fence around the yard...and probably a pygmy goat because they protect from predators and are really cool little guys.

They dont all have names yet but there is a Pearl, Dandylion, Sunny, Arcuna.....suggestions appreciated...They are still babies...very sweet!

Naw...too stalker-ish...
However.........If one were to use those names, and one were to put on one's Glenn Close outfit...and then one were to make a yummy chicken soup out of said chickens....
hmmmm....

Oh...relax PETA...just kidding...
Im buying a freakin little barn for these things...not likely that they will end up as dinner!
AND a frizzle just hatched!

If you get a goat to protect the hens, you'll need a donkey to protect the goat! Congratulations on the clucks clucks.

KAT!!!!
Well, you know I want a mini donkey! But I wonder if they all can live in a little barn together, if they have a big pen and then a bigger yard...and how much poo there will be.
The goats are like rabbits supposedly in their pooping...and Chickens...well, forget it...
Ive got frizzles hatching here and am hoping that they don't all hatch or its gonna get crowded out there!
ahh...farm Life!!
Regards to Mr Farmerkat and love to you!! xoxo

My donkey poops in one spot until it fills up and then chooses another spot. They're very clean but I don't know about the minis. Donkeys are higher up the evolutionary line than horses (& they don't let 'em forget it!).
I'm so happy you're getting your farm together.
hugs and kisses from both us to you and Will!
k.
